Kayak along the St. Mary's River in Maryland
Join us for a journey with a Flat water kayak along this quiet waterway with marsh land and historic site views along this historic river. Afterwards, join in the festivities of the St. Mary's Riverfest.
Date: Saturday, September 25
Location: St, Mary's Maryland
Time: Three Sessions Available:
Morning Session:Kayak from 9-11AM (approximately 5 miles from put-in location to St. Mary’s college)
Lunch from 11-noon with the afternoon to enjoy the Riverfest activities
Afternoon Session1:
Lunch from Noon to 1PM
Kayak from 1:30-2:30PM (approximately 2 miles kayaking around the St. Mary’s College area)
Afternoon to enjoy the Riverfest activities
Afternoon Session2:
Lunch from Noon to 1PM and Riverfest activities from 1-3PM
Kayak from 3-5PM (approximately 5 miles kayaking from St. Mary’s College area to put-in location)
Cost: $69 per person for kayaking and lunch

| Learn to Suba Dive |

Fresco Adventures Presents “Learn to Dive” – a Flexible 4-session learning program
Would you like to explore marine life up close in your own personal aquarium? Fresco Adventures offers a flexible ‘Learn to Dive’ program that will have you enjoying the fabulous underwater world in just four 4-hour lessons. This 4-session series lets you learn how to SCUBA dive at your own pace. The program includes flexible classroom sessions, pool work, course materials, and open water certification. You will need to have basic swimming skills (can float/swim on your back or tread water).
To obtain a Scuba dive certification you must complete:
- Knowledge Development sessions (review coursework and successful exam completion, 4 two-hour classroom sessions are available with this program)
- 4 two-hour sessions of restricted water skills (pool work)
- 4 open water dives (at local Quarry in Virginia or in Belize – see detailed Belize package below)

A FREE Learn to dive try-it lesson is available in Annapolis, MD from April through September (try it to see if you like it!)
When you are ready - join us in Belize in November with the second largest barrier reef for the final certification.
This Learn to Dive program includes:
- A free scuba orientation September 12 from 8AM to 12PM, includes the first classroom and pool session, and can be incorporated as your first of 4 sessions.
- At-Your-Own-Pace course materials for learning
- Classroom and Scuba swimming pool instruction in Annapolis, MD (flexible days on Sunday -8AM to 12PM, Monday – 6-10PM, Wednesday 6-10PM, consists of 2 hours of classroom and 2 hours of pool work for 4 sessions)
Program Cost - $329

Kayak/Tubing, Camping Adventure along the Shenandoah River – July 30 - August 1
Well imagine yourself drifting slowly down the Shenandoah River viewing the mountains and scenic waterway vistas. Make this image a reality by joining other adventurers on a tubing and kayak expedition. Canoe during the day on Saturday and camp into the evening. On Sunday, kayak or tube along the riverfront to our final destination. This expedition will make for a real happy camper adventure. Get the best of the wilderness and the summer by combining nature and fun on both land and water near Front Royal Virginia. This outback journey will truly test your willingness to be a real outdoor explorer. A one-day canoe or tubing/kayaking option is also available. Come for one or all days!
Date: July 30 - August 1 (Friday through Sunday) with camping on Friday and Saturday evening
Location: Low Water Bridge Campsite near Front Royal Virginia
Time: Saturday canoe begins at 9AM and Sunday Kayaking or Tubing begins at 9AM
Cost: Full weekend of camping, canoeing, kayaking - $195
(this includes food, canoeing, and kayaking/tubing equipment).
Saturday Canoeing - $89 (includes lunch)

White Water Rafting Adventure
June 5 - White Water Rafting on the Cheat River in West Virginia
Fun for all and adventure you won't forget is planned for rafting on the Cheat River in Albright, West Virginia. Experienced guides will lead us through Class IV rapids as we travel this enchanting trip of intermediate level rapids. Feel the thrills and excitement of whitewater on these challenging five-hour tours.
Date: Saturday, June 5
Location: Albright West Virginia.
You are responsible for your transportation
The location is within 4 hours of the Washington metro area
Time: Saturday rafting begins at 10AM
Cost: $95 per person for rafting.
Include the weekend overnight stay at the Alpine Lodge - $195

A personal list of supplies and directions to the locations will be sent once a reservation has been received. Space for all water fun trips is limited and will be reserved on a first-pay basis. These trips will be held rain or shine.
