Let Fresco Adventures organize an outdoor adventure for you.  Instead of your next group meeting being held in a closed room with flip charts and overheads, take it to the outdoors with scenery and the exuberance that nature has to offer. Whether it is a hike, raft trip, or other special event planning, let Fresco's experience in outdoor planning and experiential education assist in making your next meeting or event different from those of the past. Fresco's Partnership with other local outdoor groups and educational services provides an expanded scope of services for youth and adults in team building and life-style improvement conferences, workshops, and retreats.

important that your check is made payable as instructed in order for
your donation to be tax deductible.  Also, please ensure that your

kids with setting up camp, meal preparations, meal clean ups, campfires
and break down of camp; lead hikes, paddling excursions, games, etc.
Participation in a volunteer orientation is required.

Contact Desiree Farve at desifar@gmail.com or reply to this email to
arrange for equipment pickup, to become a volunteer, or if you need
additional information.

Here are the details about the program:
The group will camp in tents from Friday evening until Sunday morning.
Students learn about and began to develop an awareness, appreciation,
and respect for many aspects of nature and issues involving the environment,
including plants and animals, the
Chesapeake Bay, history, and current
wildlife habitat in the surrounding area.  Activities include camping, biking,
hiking, paddling on the river and general camping skills. Students are taught
and implement safety procedures at all times on the trip.  They are required
to wear personal flotation devices at all times when around or in the water.
They also learn to protect the natural and historic resources of the park by
following the “Leave No Trace” ethics.  In addition to learning about nature,
students are required to help prepare, serve and clean up after one or more
of the meals.  They learn to cooperate with one another in order
to complete the tasks required on the trip (e.g., setting up/tearing down their
tent, preparing meals, etc.).
Please join us in getting more youth into nature.
